John Quinones


Quiñones’ passion since childhood has been art, specifically, drawing and painting. He attended San Joaquin Delta College earning degrees in the arts. Jon has worked as a professional digital-graphic-designer for a plethora of companies throughout his career.

He continues as a freelance artist. He sells commissioned and non-commissioned works in mediums including digital, graphite, charcoal, soft pastels, acrylics and oils. Jon has also led multiple mural projects and has had numerous gallery exhibitions. His influences range from Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Renoir, Bouguereau, and Sargent, to contemporary artists such as Leyendecker, Vallejo, Vargas, and Casey Baugh. Quiñones teaches workshops and volunteers at a weekly portrait-drawing class to help artists improve their drawing skills and to further the arts in the community. He has also been featured in local newspapers and magazines.
