Adult Bedtime Stories
An Exploration of the Short and Shorter Forms
Paul Sheil leads this project to help us reconnect to being read to as kids.
The show features short stories from Ernest Hemingway and Kate Chopin to more recent works by Tess Gallagher and Molly Giles. Then, we dive into flash fiction, even shorter works, one by local author Manuel Camacho. Sheil will provide a mini-lecture on the evolution of the short story and its place alongside the novel.
Show has a 75 minute run time.
