Artist Reception: Daisy Sanchez

Artist Opening Reception: May 11, 2024

Daisy Sanchez is an emerging artist from Richmond, California. Her  artistic journey began in high school, where she embraced the freedom of  expression through art. Following this passion, she pursued formal  education at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, further  refining her craft. However, it was her immersive experience at the  Florence Academy of Art in Italy that truly ignited her artistic soul.  There, amidst the timeless beauty of Italy, she delved into classical  and traditional art forms, specializing in figure painting, still life,  and cast paintings.   Her landscape work is deeply influenced by the  vibrant colors of nature and the emotive depth found within the brush  strokes. Her work from the Florence Academy is inspired mostly through  darker backgrounds sense of light and depth. Her work seeks to evoke  emotional connections, inviting viewers to explore the tapestry of human  emotion and experience.
