Explanation of Reception

On Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. I will be collaborating with The Catalyst, located at 926 North Yosemite Street in Stockton, to formally announce the start of my passion project, the facilitation of a writing group for military veterans. 

The afternoon kickoff reception will begin at 4 p.m. with some time to socialize over light snacks and drinks.  At 4:45 p.m. I will introduce myself, share my background as both a retired veteran and a retired teacher, and the inspiration and purpose I have for this writing group. The afternoon will conclude with a demonstration lesson, prompt, and time to write and share stories.
