Silversmithing Spinner Ring

In this silversmithing class, students will be making a sterling silver spinner ring, also known as an “anxiety ring.” The spinner ring gets its nickname because the ring in the middle can be spun to relieve anxiety or extra energy by the wearer. The following techniques will be taught in this class:

Anneal (soften) a piece of 20g sterling silver for sizing.

Size their outer ring with the option of texturing it.

Solder the outer ring using solder and Handy Flux.
