Fluid Creativity - Watercolor Supply List March 2 & 3, 2024

This is a list of what supplies each student should bring or have in the

workshop. If you have questions or need assistance to order, contact Tony at

209-642-0009 or tony@tonysegale.com. Allow 14 days in advance of the

workshop to order any supplies

Professional grade watercolor tube paint

• Winsor Newton, Daniel Smith, Holbein
• Only need one red, one yellow and one blue

Watercolor Paper

• 22” x 30” Arches 140lb Cold Press paper, 3 sheets
• Or one _11” x 14” Arches watercolor block

Brushes

• One flat ½” or larger
• One round #8 or larger
• One liner or rigger # 6 or larger

Watercolor Palette:

• I prefer the Frank Webb palette
• White plastic plates, about 5, will serve the purpose until you purchase the
• palette you want

Additional supplies to have:

• Masonite or Gatorboard cut to size an inch bigger than your paper (you will not need this
• with a watercolor paper block).
• Bulldog clips
• a large cellulose sponge
• Water pan or pail
• spray bottle of water
• cloth towel, paper towels

Sketch Supplies:

• 5.5” x 8.5” minimum size sketch book
• #2 pencil

Bring lunch, water to drink and a muted cellphone, airplane mode will suffice
